    From Oranjestad, a taxi is a convenient way to reach Alto Vista Winery & Distillery. Taxis in Aruba do not have meters; instead, fares are fixed based on the destination. A taxi ride from Oranjestad to Alto Vista typically costs around $25-$30. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Note that there is a $3 surcharge on Sundays, official holidays, and between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Each taxi can usually accommodate up to five passengers.

  • Public Transport

    While there is no direct bus route to Alto Vista Winery & Distillery, you can take a bus from Oranjestad towards the northern part of the island and then walk or take a taxi for the final leg. Take the L10A bus from the main bus terminal in Oranjestad towards Arashi Beach. Get off at a stop along the main road (e.g., near the Alto Vista Chapel) and then walk or take a short taxi ride to the winery. A one-way bus fare is approximately $2.60 (4.50 AWG).     From Oranjestad, drive north on L.G. Smith Boulevard. Continue onto Route 1 (Tanki Leendert). Follow the signs to Alto Vista Chapel. The winery is located a short distance from the chapel. Parking is available on site. Be aware that the roads leading to Alto Vista can be narrow and somewhat rocky.
