Carnival Village, nestled in San Nicolas, is a cultural gem that pulsates with the rhythm of Aruba's traditions. Throughout the year, Carnival Village hosts events that highlight local talent. During Carnival season, parades, costumes, and performances fill the streets with joy. The village pays homage to Aruba's grandest festival. Many Carnival celebrations were introduced in Aruba by immigrants from Trinidad, Jamaica and British Guyana who worked in the local refinery “Lago”. In 1954 they organized the first Carnival parade in San Nicolas to commemorate the allied victory of World War II. Visitors can enjoy live music, dance shows, and local cuisine. It's a welcoming space for connections and memories.

Carnival Village is located in Bernhardstraat, San Nicolas. From most points in downtown San Nicolas, the village is easily accessible by foot. From Oranjestad or other parts of Aruba, the Arubus public bus system offers a convenient and affordable way to reach San Nicolas. Take the Arubus line that goes to San Nicolas. Once in San Nicolas, the Carnival Village is a short walk from the main bus terminal. A single trip fare is approximately $2.60 USD.

Taxis are readily available throughout Aruba and offer a direct route to Carnival Village. A taxi from Oranjestad to San Nicolas will cost approximately $46 USD.
