Discover more about Natural Bridge Aruba

Aruba's Natural Bridge was a natural arch formed over thousands of years by the relentless pounding of waves against the island's coral limestone cliffs. Measuring approximately 25 feet high and 100 feet long, it was one of the largest natural bridges in the Caribbean. Sadly, this iconic landmark collapsed on September 2, 2005, due to natural erosion. Despite the collapse, the area remains a popular destination. Visitors can still witness the power of the sea against the rocky shore and admire the smaller Baby Bridge. The site provides excellent photo opportunities and a glimpse into Aruba's geological history. Located on the northern coast between the Bushiribana gold mine ruins and Andicuri Beach, the Natural Bridge is easily accessible and offers more than just a view of the remains. A souvenir shop and snack bar, housed in a traditional Aruban cunucu house replica, provide refreshments and mementos. Other natural bridges can be found on the island, including a unique tripod bridge near Black Stone Beach.
