Getting There

• Public Transport - Bus

  If you are in the city center, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the 162 or 164 bus towards West Beach. The bus will take you along North Terrace, and you will need to get off at the stop named 'Adelaide Gaol.' The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. After disembarking, walk down Gaol Road for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the Adelaide Gaol at 18 Gaol Rd.

• Public Transport - Tram

  From the city center, head to the nearest tram stop on King William Street and take the tram towards Glenelg. Get off at the stop 'Victoria Square.' From there, transfer to bus 162 or 164 and proceed to the 'Adelaide Gaol' stop. The total travel time will be around 40 minutes. Once you get off the bus, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the Gaol.

  If you are near the Adelaide Central Market, you can walk to Adelaide Gaol. Head northwest on Gouger Street and turn left onto Morphett Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Gaol Road. Turn right onto Gaol Road and follow it for about 15 minutes until you see the entrance to Adelaide Gaol at 18 Gaol Rd.
