Public Transport - Bus
To reach the Barossa Colonel Light Monument from Adelaide city center, start by heading to the Adelaide Central Bus Station located at 85 Franklin Street. From there, take the bus route 501 towards Gawler. The bus will take you through the northern suburbs, and you will need to disembark at the Lyndoch stop. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you get off the bus, walk along the main road towards Yaldara Drive, and follow the signs to the monument, which is around a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

Train and Bus
Begin your journey at Adelaide Railway Station located on North Terrace. Take a train on the Gawler line towards Gawler Central. Get off at the Gawler station. From Gawler, transfer to bus route 501 towards Lyndoch. Disembark at the Lyndoch stop, and follow Yaldara Drive for about 15 minutes to reach the Barossa Colonel Light Monument. The entire trip may take around 1.5 to 2 hours.

Walking - from Lyndoch
If you find yourself in Lyndoch, you can walk to the Barossa Colonel Light Monument. From the Lyndoch town center, head east on the Lyndoch Valley Road and turn onto Yaldara Drive. Follow Yaldara Drive for about 2 kilometers. You will see the monument on your left. This walk will take approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
