Getting There

Walking
Start from the Darwin City Centre, specifically at the Darwin Waterfront Precinct. Head northeast towards Kitchener Drive and follow it until you reach the intersection with Smith Street. Turn left onto Smith Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with The Esplanade. Turn right onto The Esplanade and walk along the waterfront. Keep walking for about 1 km, enjoying the view of the ocean. Survivors Lookout is located at the end of this path, providing a scenic view of the area. You will see signs directing you to the lookout as you approach.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Darwin City, head to the nearest bus stop on Smith Street, which is centrally located. Take the bus number 4 or 10 heading towards Casuarina. Get off at the stop near The Esplanade. After alighting, walk towards The Esplanade and follow the path along the waterfront for about 10-15 minutes. Survivors Lookout will be on your left-hand side. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance for the most accurate timing.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in Darwin City. Start your journey from the city center and head towards the Darwin Waterfront Precinct. Once there, follow the bike path along Kitchener Drive until you reach Smith Street. Turn left onto Smith Street and ride until you reach The Esplanade. At The Esplanade, continue cycling along the waterfront. Survivors Lookout will be at the end of this path, offering a beautiful view of the coastline.
