Getting There

  If you are traveling by car, head to the Urangan area of Hervey Bay. From any location on Fraser Island, take the ferry back to River Heads (approximately a 30-minute ride). Once you arrive at River Heads, follow the signs to Hervey Bay, which will take you on River Heads Road. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto Elizabeth Street, which becomes Boat Harbour Drive. Continue straight until you reach Buccaneer Drive. Turn left onto Buccaneer Drive, and you will find Freedom III Whale Watch and Charters at Berth 4A, 17 Buccaneer Drive, Urangan. Make sure to check ferry schedules in advance as they can vary throughout the day.

  If you prefer public transportation, take the ferry from Fraser Island to River Heads. Once you arrive at River Heads, you can catch a bus to Hervey Bay. The bus will drop you off near the intersection, and from there, you can walk to Berth 4A, 17 Buccaneer Drive, which is about a 10-minute walk.
