Turn left onto the park access road, which will lead you directly into the park entrance. There is no entry fee for the park, but ensure your vehicle has enough fuel as there are limited services within the park.
Public Transportation
To reach Murray Valley National Park via public transport, take a bus from Echuca to Mathoura. Once you arrive in Mathoura, you can either walk (approximately 5 kilometers) or arrange a local taxi service to take you to the park entrance. Be aware that public transport schedules may vary, so check the local timetables in advance. The taxi fare from Mathoura to the park entrance is approximately AUD 15-25.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous travelers, you can rent a bicycle in Mathoura and cycle to the park. The route via the Cobb Highway is approximately 9 kilometers and offers scenic views along the way.
