Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara. Head south on Yulara Drive for approximately 4.5 kilometers. Turn right onto the road leading to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park entry. After passing the entry station and paying your park entry fee (approximately AUD 25 per adult, valid for 3 days), continue along the main road for another 14 kilometers. Look for the sign for Pioneer Lookout, which will be on your left. Follow the road to the designated parking area. The lookout is a short walk from there.

If you are using public transportation, take the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park shuttle bus service from Ayers Rock Resort. The shuttle bus typically runs several times a day and will take you to the park entry. You will need to pay the park entry fee (approximately AUD 25 per adult). Once inside the park, the shuttle bus may have stops near key attractions, but you will need to check the daily schedule to see if it stops at Pioneer Lookout.
