Walking
If you are starting from the center of Bad Gastein, head east on the main street, Kaiser Franz Josef-Straße. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with the Gasteiner Straße. Turn right onto Gasteiner Straße and follow it for approximately 300 meters. Look for the Senderbahn valley station, which is well marked. Once at the valley station, buy your ticket for the cable car ride to Bergstation Senderbahn.

From the Bad Gastein bus station, take the local bus service (line 550) towards Bad Hofgastein. After about 5 minutes, disembark at the 'Senderbahn' stop. From there, follow the signs to the Senderbahn valley station, which is about a 5-minute walk uphill. Once you arrive at the valley station, purchase your ticket to Bergstation Senderbahn.
