If you are in the center of Bad Gastein, start at the Bad Gastein train station. Exit the station and head towards the main road, B167. Turn left onto B167 and walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Karl Imhof-Ring. Turn right onto Karl Imhof-Ring. Continue on this road for about 300 meters. You will find Salzstadel located on your left at Karl Imhof-Ring 10.

From the Bad Gastein train station, you can take a local bus. Look for the bus stop at the station and check for the next bus heading towards Bad Hofgastein. Get off at the 'Karl Imhof-Ring' stop. Once you disembark, walk back a short distance along the road you just came from, and you will find Salzstadel at Karl Imhof-Ring 10 on your left.
