Start your journey from the center of Bad Gastein, specifically from the Bad Gastein train station. Exit the station and head west along the main road, Bahnhofstraße. After about 500 meters, you will see a sign for the Tauernbach waterfall on the left. Turn left onto the path that leads into the woods. Follow this trail for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass through beautiful forested areas and hear the sound of the waterfall as you approach. Continue following the signs, and soon you will arrive at the Tauernbach waterfall, which is a stunning sight to behold.

From Bad Gastein, take the local bus (Bus Line 550) towards Sportgastein. You can board the bus at the nearest stop, which is 'Bad Gastein Bahnhof'. After about 15 minutes, disembark at the 'Sportgastein' stop. From there, follow the signs for 'Tauernbach Wasserfall'. The walk will take around 30 minutes through scenic trails. Make sure to keep an eye on the signs directing you to the waterfall.
