From Bregenz, head to the Bregenz Bahnhof (train station). You can walk there if you're in the city center, it's about a 10-minute walk. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Lindau. Trains to Lindau run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Lindau Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs for the bus station. Take bus line 3 towards 'Friedrichshafen' and get off at the stop 'Lindau, Insel'. From the bus stop, it's a short 5-minute walk to Fischergasse 37. Just walk down the main road towards the water, take a left onto the Fischergasse, and the Lindauer Marionettenoper will be on your right.

If you prefer walking and the weather is nice, you can walk directly from Bregenz to Lindau. Start at the Bregenz waterfront and follow the lakeside path (Bodensee) heading towards Lindau.
