Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Bregenz main train station (Bregenz Bahnhof). Exit the station and head southeast towards the city center. Follow the signs leading to the Bodensee (Lake Constance). This should take you to the pedestrian area along the lakefront. Continue walking along the promenade, enjoying the views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the Bregenz harbor (Hafen Bregenz). From there, you can take a ferry to Lindau. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Lindau, disembark at the main dock. From the dock, head east along the waterfront, and you will see the Mangturm (Mang Tower) located at Hafenpl. 2, which is just a short walk away.

    Begin at the Bregenz main train station (Bregenz Bahnhof). Take the bus line 5 or 30 towards 'Lindau,' which leaves from the bus terminal adjacent to the train station. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the Lindau train station (Lindau Bahnhof). From the train station, follow the signs to the ferry terminal. Board the ferry heading towards Bregenz or directly to the main dock in Lindau. After approximately 20 minutes on the ferry, you will arrive at the Lindau dock. From there, walk east along the waterfront for about 5 minutes to reach Mangturm, located at Hafenpl. 2.
