Walking
If you are starting from Bregenz Main Train Station (Bregenz Bahnhof), exit the station and head south on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight until you reach the traffic light at the intersection with Giselawagnerstraße. Turn right on Giselawagnerstraße and follow it until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Steinbruchgasse. Continue on Steinbruchgasse for about 300 meters, and the Pfänderbahn cable car station will be on your left.

From the Bregenz Main Train Station, you can take bus number 2 towards 'Rieden' or bus number 5 towards 'Langen'. Alight at the 'Stadtgarten' stop. From there, walk south on Stadtgartenstraße until you reach the intersection with Steinbruchgasse. Turn left onto Steinbruchgasse, and after about 200 meters, you will find the Pfänderbahn cable car station on your left.
