Bus
From Dornbirn, make your way to the Dornbirn bus station (Busbahnhof Dornbirn). You can take bus line 35 towards 'Lindau' directly to Lindau. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lindau station, follow the signs towards the exit, and then head towards the waterfront. The Mangturm is located at Hafenpl. 2, just a short 10-minute walk from the station. As you walk, you will see the beautiful views of Lake Constance.
Train
Head to the Dornbirn train station (Bahnhof Dornbirn). Board a train heading towards Lindau. Trains run frequently, and the journey typically takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Lindau station, exit and follow the pedestrian signs towards the city center. Walk along Bahnhofstraße, then turn right onto Ludwigstraße, which will take you to the waterfront. The Mangturm is located at Hafenpl. 2, a short walk from the waterfront area.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Dornbirn. Start at the city center and head towards the Lake Constance bike path. Follow the signs leading to Lindau, which is approximately a 10 km ride. The route is scenic and primarily flat. Once you arrive in Lindau, continue towards the harbor area, and you will find the Mangturm at Hafenpl. 2, easily accessible from the bike path.
Walking
If you are in the vicinity of the border, you can also walk. From Dornbirn, head towards the Bregenz Forest, following the pedestrian trails that lead towards Lindau. This route is approximately 12 km long and may take around 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you reach Lindau, make your way to the waterfront and find the Mangturm located at Hafenpl. 2.
