Getting There

Walking

If you are in the center of Dornbirn, start at the Dornbirn train station (Bahnhof Dornbirn). Exit the station and head southwest on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Landstraße, where you will turn left. Follow Landstraße until you reach the bus station, then take Bus Line 3 towards Lindau. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you arrive at the Lindau Insel stop. After getting off, walk straight towards the waterfront, and you will find Gerberschanze located on the Lindau Island, right by the shore.
Public Transport

From Dornbirn, walk to the Dornbirn train station (Bahnhof Dornbirn). Purchase a ticket to Lindau. Once you board the train, it will take approximately 25 minutes to reach Lindau. Upon arrival at Lindau train station, exit the station and look for Bus Line 3. Board the bus towards Lindau Insel. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the Lindau Insel stop. From there, walk towards the waterfront, and Gerberschanze will be visible along the shore.
