Walking
If you are in the center of Linz, head towards the Danube River. Start at the Hauptplatz (Main Square), which is a central landmark. From the Hauptplatz, walk north towards the Pfarrgasse street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Landstraße, one of the main shopping streets. Turn right onto Landstraße and walk for about 500 meters until you see the Schedlbergerstraße. Turn left onto Schedlbergerstraße and continue until you reach the Promenade. Öffentlicher Park is located along the Promenade, at Promenade 28.
Public Transport - Tram
From Linz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 1 towards 'Dornach'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Landstraße'. Once you exit the tram, walk straight along Landstraße until you reach the intersection with Schedlbergerstraße. Turn left onto Schedlbergerstraße and proceed to the Promenade. Open the park is located at Promenade 28, just a short walk from there.
Public Transport - Bus
From Linz Hauptbahnhof, take bus line 12 towards 'Pichling'. Get off at the 'Kaiserstraße' stop, which is about 5 stops away. After disembarking, walk straight down Kaiserstraße until you reach the Promenade. Turn right and continue walking along the Promenade until you reach Öffentlicher Park at Promenade 28.
