If you are in the Old Town area (Altstadt), you can easily walk to Mozartplatz. From the Salzburg Cathedral (Dom zu Salzburg), head west towards the Residenzaplatz and continue down the Getreidegasse. After about 5 minutes, you will see the Mozartplatz on your left, marked by the large statue of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
