Getting there

Walking

If you are in the Old Town area (Altstadt), you can easily walk to Mozartplatz. From the Salzburg Cathedral (Dom zu Salzburg), head west towards the Residenzaplatz and continue down the Getreidegasse. After about 5 minutes, you will see the Mozartplatz on your left, marked by the large statue of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Public Transport - Bus

If you are farther from the city center, take bus line 1 or 3 and disembark at the 'Mozartsteg' stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk. Head east towards the Salzach River, cross the bridge, and continue straight until you reach Mozartplatz. You will see the plaza ahead, featuring the iconic Mozart statue.

Public Transport - Tram

Take tram line 1 to the 'ZIB' stop. From there, transfer to bus line 2 or 3 towards the city center and get off at 'Mozartsteg'. Walk east over the bridge and straight to Mozartplatz, which is approximately a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

Taxi or Rideshare

You can also take a taxi or rideshare service directly to Mozartplatz. Simply inform the driver to drop you off at 'Mozartplatz, 5020 Salzburg'. This is a convenient option if you are carrying heavy bags or prefer not to walk.
