Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Salzburg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), take bus line 150 towards Faistenau. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Faistenau' stop. From there, you will need to walk about 20 minutes to reach Strubklamm. Head north on Hauptstraße, then take a left onto Strubstraße. Follow the signs leading to Strubklamm, which is approximately 1.5 km from the bus stop.

• Walking

  If you prefer a more scenic route, consider walking from Salzburg city center to Strubklamm. Start at Mirabell Palace and Gardens, head west towards the Salzach River, and cross the Staatsbrücke bridge. Once across, follow the riverbank north until you reach the outskirts of town. You will eventually connect to Hauptstraße, where you can catch bus line 150 or continue walking. The total walking distance is about 20 km, which will take approximately 4-5 hours.

• Bicycle

  If you are feeling adventurous and would like to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Salzburg. Begin your ride from the city center and head towards the river, following the bike path along the Salzach River. Continue until you reach the junction where you can turn towards Faistenau. The cycling distance is about 20 km and will take approximately 1.5 hours, depending on your pace.
