Driving

From Hallein, take the L107 towards Ebenau. Wiestalstausee will be on your left, approximately 15 kilometers from Hallein. There are free parking bays along the road. Be aware that the L107 is a scenic route popular with motorcyclists, so drive carefully.

While not directly accessible by public transport to the immediate lake shore, the Tennengau Shuttle offers an on-demand service in the region. From the Salzburg main train station or a local bus stop in the Tennengau region, use the Tennengau Shuttle app or call +43 662 265500 to book a ride to a point near Wiestalstausee.
