    From the Grünberg cable car mountain station, follow the well-marked hiking trails to Laudachsee. The hike takes approximately 1 hour and is suitable for families with children. The Grünberg cable car costs around €15.50 for a single adult ride.

  • Public Transport

    Take the bus to the 'Franzl im Holz' inn. However, the bus only runs on weekdays and even then only rarely; check the schedule in advance. From the bus stop, follow the hiking trails to Laudachsee. The hike from 'Franzl im Holz' to Laudachsee takes approximately 1.5 hours.

  • Driving

    From Gmunden, follow the B120 towards Scharnstein. Turn right at Engelhof and follow the road to 'In der Klamm', where you can find parking. Alternatively, continue on B120 to Kranichsteg, turn right before the former inn, and follow the road to 'In der Klamm'. Parking is available at the 'In der Klamm' car park. Parking is free but limited, especially during peak season; arrive early to secure a spot.
