From Semmering, head southeast on the B71 road. Follow the B71 for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the town of Spital am Semmering. From Spital am Semmering, continue straight onto the L118 road. After about 2 kilometers, turn left onto a small access road that leads to Eselstein. There is limited parking available near the site, so be sure to arrive early to secure a spot.

Take the local train (ÖBB) from Semmering station to Spital am Semmering station. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Spital am Semmering, exit the station and walk south on the L118 road for approximately 2 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Eselstein, as the path may be slightly obscured. Make sure to check the train schedules ahead of time to plan your return trip.

If you prefer to walk from Semmering, follow the B71 road south for about 5 kilometers to reach Spital am Semmering.
