Getting There

  • Public Transport

    To reach Belvedere Palace from the city center, start at Karlsplatz station (U1, U2, U4). From there, take the U1 (Red Line) towards Stephansplatz. Get off at the next station, which is Hauptbahnhof (Main Station). Transfer to tram line D (direction: Nußdorf) and get off at the stop called 'Schwarzenbergplatz.' From there, it’s a short walk. Head northeast on Prinz-Eugen-Straße for about 10 minutes until you reach Belvedere Palace at Prinz-Eugen-Straße 27.

    If you're near the Vienna State Opera, you can walk to Belvedere Palace. Exit the opera and head southeast on Opernring. Continue straight to the intersection with Schwarzenbergstraße, where you will turn right. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Prinz-Eugen-Straße. Turn left, and in about 10-15 minutes, you will see Belvedere Palace on your right at Prinz-Eugen-Straße 27.

    If you are at the Vienna State Opera, you can take bus line 13A from the stop 'Oper' (located in front of the opera house). Get off at the stop 'Kärntnertor Theater' and transfer to tram line D at the nearby stop 'Schwarzenbergplatz.' Ride the tram for one stop and get off at 'Schwarzenbergplatz.' Walk northeast on Prinz-Eugen-Straße for about 10 minutes to reach Belvedere Palace at Prinz-Eugen-Straße 27.
