The Museum of Illusions is located in Vienna's Innere Stadt, near Stephansplatz. From Wien Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the U1 subway line to Stephansplatz. From there, it's a short walk to Wallnerstraße 4. A single ticket for public transport is €2.40.

The Museum of Illusions is centrally located in the Innere Stadt, within walking distance of many major landmarks. From St. Stephen's Cathedral, walk northwest along Graben, then turn left onto Wallnerstraße. The museum will be on your right. The walk is approximately 5 minutes.

Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Vienna. A taxi from Wien Hauptbahnhof to the Museum of Illusions will cost approximately €8-€14, depending on traffic. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Keep in mind that taxi fares have a base rate of €3.80-€4.30, plus a per-kilometer charge.

Driving to the Museum of Illusions is possible, but parking in the Innere Stadt can be challenging and expensive. Short-stay parking zones are in effect from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 10 pm, with a maximum parking duration of two hours. The parking fee is €1.30 per 30 minutes. Parking garages are available, but rates vary. Consider parking at a Park & Ride facility on the outskirts of the city and taking public transport to the museum.
