Getting There

  • U-Bahn (Subway)

    If you are at Stephansplatz, take the U1 subway line (Red Line) in the direction of Reumannplatz. Travel for one stop and get off at Karlsplatz. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for the exit that leads to the Künstlerhaus. After exiting, walk towards the Ringstraße, and then take a right onto Friedrichstraße. The Secession building will be on your left at Friedrichstraße 12.

  • Tram

    If you are near the Vienna State Opera, you can take tram line D. Board the tram at the Oper/Karlsplatz stop in the direction of Nussdorf. Travel for two stops and get off at the stop called 'Karlsplatz'. From there, walk towards the Ringstraße and turn onto Friedrichstraße. The Secession building will be located at Friedrichstraße 12, just a short walk ahead.

  • Walking

    If you are in the vicinity of the Naschmarkt, it's a pleasant 15-minute walk to the Secession. Head north on the Rechte Wienzeile, then turn left onto Linke Wienzeile. Continue until you reach the intersection with Friedrichstraße. Turn right onto Friedrichstraße, and you will find the Secession building at number 12.
