Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in the Brigittenau neighborhood, you can easily walk to Treppelweg an der Donau. Start by heading towards the Danube Canal (Donaukanal). Depending on where you are in Brigittenau, you may need to walk to the nearest street that leads to the canal. For example, if you are near the Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof, walk south towards the canal, which will take about 15-20 minutes on foot. Once you reach the canal, follow the pathway along the water to the east until you reach Treppelweg. The park is situated right along the riverside, and you will see signs pointing you towards it. Enjoy the scenic view along the way!

• Public Transport

  For a quicker route using public transport, you can take the U6 subway line from one of the nearby stations such as 'Julius-Tandler-Platz' or 'Gumpendorfer Straße.' Board the U6 train heading towards 'Siebenhirten' and travel for two stops to 'Floridsdorf' station. From there, transfer to tram line 25. Board the tram heading towards 'Stadlau' and disembark at the 'Brigittenau' stop. After leaving the tram, walk south towards the Danube Canal. Follow the canal eastward, and you will reach Treppelweg an der Donau in about 10 minutes. The total cost for a single ticket is approximately €2.40.

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in Brigittenau. Once you have a bike, head towards the Danube Canal by cycling south.
