Heldenplatz: Vienna's Heroic Square

Heldenplatz, a vast expanse in the heart of Vienna, serves as a powerful stage for Austria's rich and complex history. Originally conceived in the 19th century as part of Emperor Franz Joseph I's grand Kaiserforum, the square was intended to showcase the Habsburg Empire's might.
