Legend has it that Villa Helene was originally commissioned by Emperor Franz Joseph for his beloved companion, Katharina Schratt. The villa's striking yellow facade has also earned it the nickname "Schönbrunn am See," drawing comparisons to the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna. Throughout its history, Villa Helene has undergone several transformations. In March 1999, after years of neglect, the villa was meticulously restored by the German master builder Markus Gerold. Since July 1999, Villa Helene has shone in its full splendor, captivating visitors with its timeless beauty and charm.
