Serenity by the Water: Baridhara DOHS Lake

Getting There

• Rickshaw

  If you are in the central area of Dhaka, you can take a rickshaw to Baridhara DOHS Lake. Start by heading to a busy area like Gulshan-1 or Gulshan-2. From there, tell the rickshaw driver to take you to Baridhara DOHS. The driver should be familiar with the area. The lake is located at approximately 23.8139° N latitude and 90.4106° E longitude. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

• Public Bus

  To reach Baridhara DOHS Lake via public bus, first find a bus stop that serves the Gulshan or Baridhara route. Buses like 'Gulshan-1 to Baridhara' operate frequently. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the Baridhara DOHS area. Once you get off, ask locals for directions to the lake; it is a known landmark. Expect the journey to take around 45 minutes to an hour depending on the traffic.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Baridhara area, you can walk to the lake. From Baridhara DOHS main entrance, head straight on the main road. You will see signs or locals pointing you towards the lake.
