Walking
If you are in the city center of Aalst, head southwest towards the main square (Grote Markt). From there, walk down the main road (Kerkstraat) until you reach the intersection with the Dendermondsesteenweg. Turn left onto Dendermondsesteenweg and continue walking until you reach the Aalst train station. The station is well-marked and you will see signs directing you to the entrance.

From the center of Aalst, you can take a local bus (Bus line 1 or 2) from the bus stop near the Grote Markt. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to go to the train station (Station). The bus ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes. Get off at the Aalst train station stop, which is conveniently located right outside the station entrance.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental stations in the city center. Head southwest towards the main square (Grote Markt), then take Kerkstraat until it intersects with Dendermondsesteenweg. Turn left and cycle straight until you reach the Aalst train station. There are bike racks available at the station for parking.
