From the center of Aalst, start at the Aalst train station. Exit the station and head towards the main road, Mechelsestraat. Turn right and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the N41 road. Cross the road and follow the sign for the bus stop. Take bus line 150 towards Leuven. After about 25 minutes, get off at the 'Leuven, Station' stop. Once you exit the bus, follow the signs to the city center. Walk straight on Diestsevest, which will lead you directly to Pater Damiaanplein. The square is located right in front of the university library, and you will see it as you approach the area.

Pater Damiaanplein is just a short walk from the library; head straight down Diestsevest and you will see the square on your left.

Once you arrive at Leuven train station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Walk straight on Diestsevest, and you'll reach Pater Damiaanplein in about 10 minutes.
