Start at the Aalst train station. Exit the station and head southwest on the Koningin Astridlaan. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Baanstraat. Turn left onto Baanstraat and walk until you reach the bus station. Take bus line 150 towards Brussels. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Brussels, Gare Centrale' stop. From there, walk east along the Rue de la Montagne until you reach the Place de la Bourse. Continue walking east through the Rue du Marché aux Herbes, and you will find the Smurf Statue on your right.
Train and Walking
From Aalst station, take a train to Brussels Central Station. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Brussels Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the Rue de la Montagne. Continue to the Place de la Bourse, then turn right onto Rue du Marché aux Herbes. The Smurf Statue will be located a short walk ahead on your right.
Bus
From Aalst, head to the bus station and take bus line 150 towards Brussels. The trip will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Brussels, Gare Centrale' bus stop. Once you disembark, walk east along the Rue de la Montagne towards the Place de la Bourse. Continue onto Rue du Marché aux Herbes to find the Smurf Statue on your right side.
