Walking
If you are in the Aalst city center, head towards the main square, known as 'Grote Markt'. From there, look for the statue of the famous local figure, Priest Daens. Walk towards the statue, and once you reach it, take the street that goes directly south, which is called 'Priester Daensplein'. St Martin's Church will be located directly on your left as you walk along this square. It is a prominent building with a tall bell tower, making it hard to miss.

From Aalst train station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located just outside. Take bus number 2 or 5, which will take you towards the city center. Get off at the 'Grote Markt' stop. From there, walk towards the statue of Priest Daens as a landmark. Continue walking south on 'Priester Daensplein', and you will find St Martin's Church on your left side.
