Public Transport
From the center of Arlon, make your way to the Arlon railway station (Gare d'Arlon). You can walk there in about 15 minutes from the town square. Once at the station, take a train towards Luxembourg City. You will need to transfer at either the Luxembourg or the Bettembourg station, depending on the schedule. From Luxembourg, take a train to the station of 'Mullerthal'. The total journey may take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Mullerthal station, exit the station and follow the signs for the hiking paths. The Schiessentümpel Waterfall is approximately a 30-minute walk from the station. Follow the signs leading you towards the Mullerthal trail, and you will reach the waterfall area where you can enjoy the view.

If you prefer to hike directly from Arlon, start at the Arlon town square and head towards the Rue de la Station. Follow this road until you reach the N4 highway. Cross the highway using the pedestrian path and continue straight on the Rue de la Station until you reach the intersection with the CR121. Turn left onto CR121 and follow this road for about 5.5 kilometers. The trail to Schiessentümpel Waterfall begins on your right. It’s a moderate hike, and you will enjoy several scenic views along the way, taking approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.
