If you are driving from the center of Ostend, head northwest on Kapellestraat toward Weststraat. Continue onto Nieuwpoortsesteenweg/N34. Follow this road for approximately 5 km. Walraversijde Medieval Fishing Village will be on your left at Nieuwpoortsesteenweg 636. There is parking available at the site, but please note that there might be a fee for parking.

To reach Walraversijde Medieval Fishing Village using public transport from Ostend, start by taking tram line 1 towards Nieuwpoort. Get off at the 'Oosteroever' stop. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the site. Head southeast on Oosteroever towards Nieuwpoortsesteenweg, then turn left onto Nieuwpoortsesteenweg and follow it until you reach the village. The tram ticket costs around €3.00.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike in Ostend and take the coastal bike path. Head towards the west along the Promenade and follow the signs to Nieuwpoort. It’s approximately a 10 km ride, and you’ll enjoy beautiful views along the coast. Once you reach Nieuwpoortsesteenweg, turn left, and the village will be on your right. Bike rental costs around €10.00 per day.
