From Dinant Station, take a train towards Charleroi. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Chimay Station. Once you arrive at Chimay Station, exit the station and follow Rue de la Station until you reach the intersection with Rue du Château. Turn left onto Rue du Château. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Château de Chimay located at Rue du Château 14.

At the Dinant bus station, take Bus line 152 towards Chimay. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Château de Chimay.' Once you alight, you will be just a short walk from the castle. Head down the path towards Rue du Château, and it will lead you directly to the entrance of the Château de Chimay.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Dinant. Head east on Rue de la Station, then take the D929 road towards Chimay. Follow the signs for Chimay; the ride is approximately 10 kilometers and takes around 30 minutes. Once you reach Chimay, follow the signs to Rue du Château, where you will find Château de Chimay.

If you're feeling adventurous and up for a walk, you can trek to Château de Chimay. Start from the center of Dinant and head towards Rue de la Station. Follow this road, which will take you out of Dinant and into the countryside. The distance is about 10 kilometers and will take approximately 2 hours on foot. Make sure to follow signs towards Chimay and then turn onto Rue du Château when you get closer.
