Once you arrive at Leuven station, exit the station and turn right onto Diestsevest. Walk straight until you reach the first intersection, then turn left onto Rector de Somerplein. The Fonske statue is located at Rector de Somerplein 3, just a short walk from there.

    Bus

    From the Hasselt city center, walk to the bus station located at 'Stationstraat'. Look for bus line 21 or 22 that goes towards Leuven. The journey will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Leuven, walk straight towards the city center. Follow the signs to Rector de Somerplein, which is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
