If you are in the center of Hasselt, start at the Hasselt Market Square (Grote Markt). Head north on Maastrichterstraat until you reach the intersection with Koningstraat. Turn left onto Koningstraat and continue straight until you reach the train station (Hasselt Station). From the station, take a train towards Leuven, which takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Leuven Station, exit the station and head west towards the city center. Walk straight along Diestsevest, which will lead you directly to the Pater Damiaanplein.

From Hasselt, make your way to the bus station located near the train station. Take bus line 1 to Leuven. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Leuven, walk towards the city center. Head southwest on Mechelsestraat, and then turn left onto Diestsevest which will lead you directly to Pater Damiaanplein.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental stations in Hasselt. Start your journey by heading towards the south of Hasselt, following the designated cycling paths. Take the route that leads you to the Leuven road (N80). Continue to follow the signs for Leuven. This bike ride takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Leuven, follow the signs towards the city center, and you will find Pater Damiaanplein.
