    If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Hoge Kempen National Park located at 'Parkweg 1, 3600 Genk'. Head south on Parkweg, then turn left onto the N76. Continue on N76 for approximately 5 km until you reach the junction with the E314 highway. Merge onto E314 towards Leuven. After about 10 km, take the exit towards Oudsbergen (Exit 33). After exiting, continue straight onto Zavelstraat. Oudsberg will be on your right after about 3 km. Parking is available near the site.

    To reach Oudsberg via public transportation, first, take a train to Genk Station. From Genk Station, take bus line 35 towards Oudsbergen. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Oudsbergen Zavelstraat' stop. From there, Oudsberg is a short walk down Zavelstraat, approximately 500 meters to the northeast, where you’ll find the entrance to the nature preserve.

    For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Genk. Start from Genk Station and follow the designated cycling paths leading to Oudsbergen. The route is approximately 10 km and will take about 30-40 minutes. Follow the N76 cycle path south, then turn onto Zavelstraat. Oudsberg will be on your right. Ensure you have a bike rental agreement sorted, which typically costs around €10-€15 for a day.
