Kaapduin: A Coastal Gem in Koudekerke

Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey at the Knokke-Heist train station. Exit the station and head southwest on Stationsstraat toward Lippenslaan. Continue on Lippenslaan for about 1 kilometer until you reach the beach. Once you arrive at the beach, turn left and walk along the promenade. Keep walking for approximately 4 kilometers, enjoying the seaside views. You will eventually reach the beach area near Koudekerke in the Netherlands. Kaapduin is located at Strand Koudekerke 50, which is directly along the beach. Follow the signs for beach pavilions, and you will find Kaapduin.

• Bicycle

  Begin your trip at the Knokke-Heist tourist office. Rent a bicycle if you do not have one. From the tourist office, head towards the beach by going down Lippenslaan. Once you reach the beach, turn left onto the coastal bike path. Continue cycling along the coast for about 4 kilometers until you arrive at the beach of Koudekerke, where Kaapduin is located at Strand Koudekerke 50. The route is scenic, and you can enjoy the sights of the coastline while riding.

• Public Transport

  From Knokke-Heist, take the bus 43 from the Knokke bus stop (located near the train station) towards Koudekerke. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Koudekerke stop. From there, head east on Strand Koudekerke. Walk straight for about 500 meters, and you will reach Kaapduin at Strand Koudekerke 50.
