Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of La Roche-en-Ardenne, head east on Rue de la Station towards Rue du Commerce. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue du Cerf. Turn left onto Rue du Cerf and follow it until you reach the main road, N847. Cross safely to the other side and continue straight on the same road (the N847) for about 2.5 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. You will pass by several local shops and cafes where you can take a break if needed. After about 30-40 minutes of walking, look for signs directing you to Houffalize. Continue straight, and you will eventually reach the outskirts of Houffalize. As you approach Houffalize, keep an eye out for Rue du Hérou on your right. Turn onto Rue du Hérou, and the entrance to The Hérou - Natural Park of the two Ourthes will be along this road.

  • Bus

    From the central bus station in La Roche-en-Ardenne, take bus number 12 towards Houffalize. The bus ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the 'Houffalize' bus stop. From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride. If walking, head north on Rue de la Station until you reach the intersection with Rue du Hérou. Turn left onto Rue du Hérou, and the park will be located down this road. The walk from the bus stop to the park entrance takes about 15 minutes.
