From the center of Leuven, head towards the train station by walking south on Naamsestraat. Continue straight until you reach the station. Once at Leuven Station, take a train towards Brussels, which typically runs every 15-30 minutes. After approximately 25 minutes, you will arrive at Brussels Central Station. Exit the station and follow signs for the city center. As you exit, take a right onto Rue de la Montagne, then turn left onto Rue des Bouchers. Continue straight until you reach the Marollen neighborhood, which is known for its vibrant atmosphere and eclectic shops.
Bus
From the Leuven city center, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Tiensestraat. Take bus number 600 or 601 towards Brussels. The bus will take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach Brussels. Disembark at the Brussels City Center stop. From there, navigate towards the Marollen by walking south on Rue de l'Enseignement, then turn right onto Rue de la Régence. Keep walking straight until you reach the Marollen area, where you can explore its unique shops and cultural spots.
Train
Make your way to Leuven Train Station, which is located just south of the city center. You can get there by walking or taking a local bus. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for Brussels. Board a train heading towards Brussels Central Station. The journey takes about 25 minutes. After arriving at Brussels Central, exit the station and follow the signs for the city center. Walk down Rue de l'Enseignement and turn left onto Rue de la Régence to reach the Marollen neighborhood, a vibrant area filled with shops and local culture.
