Getting There

  • Car

    To reach the Luxembourg American Cemetery by car, start from the city center of Luxembourg City. Head southeast on Avenue de la Liberté, and merge onto Route d'Arlon (N6). Continue on N6 for approximately 3.5 kilometers. Take the exit toward Route de Thionville (N31). After about 1.5 kilometers, take a right onto Val du Scheid. The cemetery will be on your left at number 50. Parking is available on-site, and it is free of charge.

    To visit the Luxembourg American Cemetery using public transportation, start by taking the tram line 1 or 3 from the city center towards 'Luxembourg, Hamilius'. Get off at the 'Luxembourg, Hamilius' stop. From there, transfer to bus line 25 towards 'Hamm, Gare'. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Hamm, Val du Scheid' stop.
