History of Luxembourg

The region known as Luxembourg in Belgium has a rich history dating back to ancient times. Originally inhabited by Celtic tribes, it became part of the Roman province of Gallia Belgica. The area was later influenced by various Germanic tribes before becoming part of the Frankish Empire.
