Starting from the Grand Place in Mons, head southeast towards Rue de la Clef. Continue walking straight until you reach Rue de la Chaussée. Turn left onto Rue de la Chaussée and follow it until you reach the intersection with Chem. des Etangs. Turn right onto Chem. des Etangs. Continue walking for about 500 meters, and you will see Square de la Prison de Mons on your left.

If you are near the Mons Memorial Museum, exit the museum and head northeast on Rue de la Petite Mairie. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenue du Général de Gaulle. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Chem. des Etangs. Square de la Prison de Mons will be a short walk ahead on your right.

From the train station (Gare de Mons), exit the station and turn left onto Rue de la Station. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue du Général de Gaulle. Cross the street, then turn right onto Avenue du Général de Gaulle. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer, then turn left onto Chem. des Etangs. Square de la Prison de Mons should be on your left after a short walk.
