From the center of Nieuwpoort, head east on Oosteroever until you reach the main road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the N8. Turn left and follow the road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus station at Nieuwpoort. From the bus station, catch the bus towards Bruges (Brugge) which operates frequently. Once you arrive in Bruges, disembark at the 'Brugge Station'. From there, walk straight down the Zilverpand street until you reach the Burg. The Basilica of the Holy Blood is located at Burg 13, just a short walk from the square.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Nieuwpoort. Start by heading east on the Oosteroever towards the N8. Once you reach the N8, turn left and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. At the intersection, follow the signs for Bruges. The cycle route will take you through scenic countryside before leading you into the city. Upon reaching Bruges, navigate to the city center by following the signs for 'Burg'. The Basilica of the Holy Blood is located at Burg 13, directly in the main square.
