Getting There

Walking
From the center of Spa, head south towards the Rue de la Station. Walk along this road until you reach the 'Place Royale'. Continue straight onto the 'Avenue du Centenaire'. After about 600 meters, you will reach the 'Place de l'Yser'. Here, take the 'Avenue de la Reine' heading towards Theux. This will lead you out of Spa. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Keep to the right onto the 'N62' road. Continue for another 1.5 kilometers, and you will see signs for Franchimont Castle on your left. Follow these signs until you arrive at the castle entrance.

Public Transport
Start at Spa's central bus station, located in the Place Royale. Look for the bus number 398 heading towards Theux. Board the bus and stay on for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Theux, Eglise' stop. From here, walk along 'Rue de l'Eglise' and follow the signs for Franchimont Castle. It should take you about 20 minutes to walk to the castle from the bus stop. The total journey will take around 40 minutes from Spa.
