Car
From any location on The Belgian Coast, take the N34 road towards Ostend. Follow the signs for Ostend and merge onto the A10 highway if coming from the east. Continue on the A10 until you reach the Ostend exit (E40). Once you exit, follow the signs for 'Oostende Centrum' which will guide you into the city. As you enter the city, take the exit toward 'Grintweg'. Continue straight until you reach Polderdijk. Stadsbos Oostende is located at Polderdijk - Grintweg, 8400 Ostend. There is free parking available near the entrance.
Public Transportation - Train
If you are traveling by train, head to the nearest railway station on The Belgian Coast, such as Knokke or Blankenberge. Take a train towards Ostend. Upon arriving at Ostend train station, exit the station and catch bus number 6 towards 'Oosteroever'. Get off at the 'Grintweg' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Polderdijk - Grintweg where Stadsbos Oostende is located. A train ticket from Knokke to Ostend costs around €5.50.
Public Transportation - Bus
For those who prefer bus travel, find the nearest bus stop in your area. You can take regional buses that service The Belgian Coast, like bus number 1 or 5, towards Ostend. After arriving at the Ostend bus station, switch to bus number 6 towards 'Oosteroever' and disembark at the 'Grintweg' stop. Stadsbos Oostende is just a short walk from there. The bus fare typically ranges from €2 to €3 depending on the distance.
