Getting There

  • Bicycle

    From the center of Corozal Town, head south on 4th Avenue towards the main road. Turn left onto the Philip Goldson Highway (also known as Highway 9) and continue for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to the town of Bacalar. Once you reach Bacalar, follow the signs to Cenote Negro located on Av 1 27 in the Magisterial district.

  • Walking

    Starting from the Corozal Central Park, walk south down 4th Avenue until you reach the main intersection with the Philip Goldson Highway. Cross the highway carefully and continue straight along the road. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will arrive in Bacalar. Look for Av 1 and turn left; Cenote Negro will be on your right at Av 1 27.
